The Rhea's Special is a great burger. True, the place is a hole in the wall and Jimmy, the guy that runs the place will mess with you a bit - may even call you ugly - but it's all for fun and well worth it because you'll get a great burger and it's all part of the experience. Been around 36 years for a reason. I recommend.

Ah the legend. The original burger Nazi.....my first experience with Rhea's was when I was in high school. Someone brought me here after school and told me the burgers here were amazing. But she also warned me the guy was "quite the character." well it turned out Jimmy was super cool but he's famous for giving people a hard time and it's sort of badge of honor when he tells you...."you take it the way it is" after you tell him you didn't want onions on your burger....
The food is simple and hasn't changed in decades. Hand formed beef patties on freshly baked french bread...the place is tiny and is lucky to seat 10 people but this is the way we want Rhea's to stay... -

I'm reading that some posters are dumping on this place because it isn't run like an Applebee's. No, the owners aren't Mr Personality, but they are friendly enough to regulars. Rhea's is run like so many lunch counters I've eaten at all over the country (which are disappearing in the South): great food delivered fast and without fanfare.
Rhea's certainly serves the best burger in Roswell. Yeah, the place is a bit old and dumpy. But they've been there for a very long time. There is a reason for this: the food. -

This is the 2nd best cheeseburger I've ever had in my life. Went here with my dad and brother's 10 years ago and still think about those burgers to this day.
